Celebrated Ghanaian musician and entrepreneur, Belinda Nana Akua Amoah popularly known in the showbiz industry as Mzbel, has finally made a bold statement about the father of her seven-year-old son.
It is not common for the 16 years old hit maker, to speak publicly about the father of her son. After seven years, the name of the father of her son has remained a mystery which most Ghanaians have been itching to know.
Her social media rival, Afia Schwarzenegger has alleged that, Mzbel is afraid to mention the name of her baby daddy to the public, because she is ashamed of him.
Speaking on the United Showbiz programme on United Television with Nana Ama McBrown, Mzbel indicated that, she has two sons, with the eldest being 17 years and the last being seven years.
She added that, the father of her last son is unknown because he has decided to remain on the low. She reveals that, she has a lot of respect for him and that, it will not be appropriate if she decides to put his identity in the public domain without his knowledge.
“I have to respect my son’s father. He does not want to have anything to do with social media. He has told me point blank that if I’m interested in social media, I should do my social media without meddling his name with it. But as for him, he is not interested in social media stuffs. That is why after seven years, I have decided to keep his name and identity a secret. I cannot reveal anything about him without his consent”. Mzbel indicated.
She however declined to answer further questions about the father of her son. The ‘awosome’ hitmaker also refused to mention his name, despite various attempts by panelists of the show.
