Manchester United fans slam two players after Bournemouth defeat

United slipped to their fourth defeat of the Premier League season against the Cherries and fans aren’t happy with two men in particular.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, manager of Manchester United.

Manchester United fans have slammed the performances of defender Victor Lindelof and midfielder Andreas Pereira after the 1-0 defeat against Bournemouth in the Premier League .

The Sweden international has struggled for form in recent weeks but injury to Axel Tuanzebe has left Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with little other senior options in central defence.

Lindelof was at fault for the only goal of the game, being caught ball watching as the cross entered the box, allowing Joshua King far too much space to finish.

The defender failed to win a single tackle against the Cherries and made just one interception – the lowest of any United defender – despite having more touches than any other player in Red bar Fred (86).

Pereira was also poor, completing just 60 per cent of his passes in midfield, as well as completing only one successful dribble.

The Brazilian was extremely sloppy in possession, losing the ball 23 times.

United fans are far from pleased with their performances and some have called for Solskjaer to drop them from the starting XI for United’s next fixture.

They took to social media to express their frustration.
