Former Member of Parliament (MP) for Gomoa Central and former Deputy Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection. Hon Rachel Appoh has revealed she only realized how expensive her son’s school fees was after the NDC lost power in 2016
According to her, this compelled her to change her son’s school because she was unable to shoulder the huge bills as fees from the institution.
Although the former Deputy Gender Minister did not mention the school her son used to attend, she revealed paying a whopping $11, 000 a year.
In an interview with Blogger, Zionfelix she said “I’ve taken my son out of that school because the fees is too expensive. Well, for me it’s too expensive so I’ve changed his school for him. I used to pay $11,000 I’m a hassler so I’ve changed his school for him”.
When Zionfelix converted the amount in question, the cedi equivalence for her son’s school fees was GH¢ 60,000.
