Ghanaian songstress, Becca has bemoaned the lack of returns for their music commercially whiles revealing why Nigerian artists are somewhat ahead of Ghanaian acts in that aspect.
The mother of one was hosted by Andy Dosty on Hitz FM on Friday when she went there to promote her new single, ‘Yes I Do’ which features Tiwa Savage.
The A-list artist who has been off the radar for a while after her marriage to her Nigerian heartthrob, Daniel Oluwatobi Sanni and subsequent delivery, said GH artists don’t put money into their craft in terms advertisement and getting them published on digital stores.
She noted that when some like Davido releases a song on Apple , it comes with a banner and no matter what it is, one may be compelled to click on it which generates revenue for him
She said:
We as Ghanaians are not putting money into pushing our music. When @iam_Davido releases a song on Apple , it comes with a banner. No matter what it is, you may be compelled to click on it.
