Gone are the days when most Ghanaian graduates complain of poverty after school and as a result gave birth to the infamous “Unemployed Graduate Association of Ghana” who used to give the government pressure to find them jobs.
But someway somehow, the above-mentioned association has been reduced to nothingness kind courtesy the influx of sports betting in Ghana. This is because with just GH¢1, a lucky punter can win hundreds or thousands of Ghana cedis which cometh with no or less stress.
But in the rightful thinking of Serwaa Amihere of GHOne television fame, the influx of sports betting in Ghana is fast becoming a national canker, therefore, the incumbent president of Ghana should act smart to curb the developing menace else the future of the youths look bleak!
However, this projection by the television personality didn’t sit well with those who’re into sports betting in Ghana which majority of the subscribers are unemployed graduates. Following comments, it’s obvious sports betting is now a major source of income for contemporary graduates.
Whiles some feel sports betting is a job for lazy graduates, there’s other school of thought who believe betting isn’t a job for lazy peeps. To them, it takes lot of calculations, research and on top of it all, LUCK from God to one win in the game of sports betting.
Enough, follow conversations below and see how aggrieved unemployed graduates roasted Serwaa Amihere for calling on the government to ban sports or better still football betting in Ghana.
