Ghanaian actor and movie director, Eddie Nartey, has attacked his colleague, Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, popularly known as Funny Face.

According to Eddie, the award winning comic actor is an incompetent actor.

He made this statement in response to a question asked on Joy News’ by MzGee, on claims by Funny Face that he was an incompetent director.

The two actors had issues some years ago after Funny Face abruptly terminated Eddie’s contract while they were on set shooting television drama series, ‘Chicken & Cow.

Eddie Nartey, who was speaking on ‘The Gist’ mentioned that though he has moved on, Funny Face was not fair to him.

When asked if rumour that he was an incompetent director led to his ousting, he said “He’s an incompetent actor for saying that. Whoever said that knows I’m not an incompetent director.”.

Eddie, who has acted and directed several films, including: Wedlock of the Gods, Return Of Beyonce, Crime To Christ, In The Eyes Of My Husband, Gallery of Comedy, Passion and Soul, Girls Connection, Agony of Christ, Ties That Bind, The King Is Mine, among others stressed that there is no way he is an incompetent director and his clients can attest to this.

“If you have worked with me before, you’ll appreciate my abilities and what I do.What happened was not even on set. It was editing delay and they laid everything on me.” Eddie said.

He further divulged that he used his personal equipment to shoot the first four episodes of the series unpaid.
